i9300 Price Increase?
Anyone know why the price of the i9300 increased? I had configured one for $1355.55 shipped with the following specs:

Depends on what battery they also have on it. It might have increased, but most of the time they will release a coupon for a bunch off like when I got the :750: from them. You might want to wait until tomorrow to check it out cause all of their promotions come out on Thursdays.

I forgot to mention that theprice I had was with a $750 coupon. I am just trying to figure out what increased to cause the $150.

Its true, the prices did go up by $150 on the i9300.
I had saved a system on my account on Sunday night that came up to $1400 exactly with all discounts and now when I went to purchase yesterday the price was almost $1559.
I called CS and there was nothing they could do even on a saved cart to get the price back down to what I wanted.

Prices are probably going up because of the holidays. It could also be due to the new releases for next year.

I agree, what Dell might do, much like other places is offer higher coupons to offset that cost, Best Buy and Circuit City also do this around the holidays.

Well it could be, but that is just speculation and I used to be in sales so I know all about rising the price and then releasing discounts to offset the price raise.
This is the scenario...I have a $2000 product and I raise the price to $2250. My normal coupons are for $500 dollars off, but with the holidays coming I raised the price and I am going to put up a $750 coupon, which gives me the same profit, but the customer sees that coupon and thinks they are getting a better deal than normal.
This is big stores do it. At least as far as my experience goes. Hope this helps clarify.

Wait until tomorrow and see what kind of coupons and deals come out, they change every Thursday, it might be worth it. If you find the upgraded coupon then it would bring it down to what you built it for originally.
