As of today - there isn't a chance in hell of bringing this in before the W1 gets transformed onto the Napa platform (my guess is 3 months)... at that point, the carbon fiber lids may not be something they'll still be making. Anyway...... since I had some of the photos, I figured I'd share them so you could all better understand what it's all about...... Just an exposed carbon fiber lid with brushed aluminum palmrest like the old w1 and the current w2..

I posted those pictures just to make you salivate..... when we talked to Asus about importing a special edition W1 back in the fall (most of you will remember)... this is what I wanted to import. We talked about importing like a 100 and just use them as a special limited edition promo..... at the time Taiwan wanted a much larger order from the US office and no one else was willing to bite on them and we thought there was no way the market would be very large for given the chipset was aging and the system was going to run about the same as the W2.....
So.. it's still up in the air, but right now I think the chances are slim to none... at best I might be able to get a couple in to do some sort of promotional contest or something... but in terms of retail, I think you're all out of luck...
... but enjoy the pictures anyway.

comes with a QWERTY keyboard, but if (slight if) it comes with a QWERTZ keyboard, just remap the Y and Z key and ur keyboard will be normal again :D
Um, unfortunately i heard there was soem shipping problems from Micro Anvika, so they won't have them yet.. supposedly..
ohwell maybe Harrods has it :D
They are Expected to Sell out, so yah jump on them... they are one of the most sexiest laptop we've seen. especially from ASUS :D

I am hopefully gonna get me a Samsung X50 XVM 2130 or an ASUS M6va we'll see.
