Well, it only has a 90-day warranty, and a Celeron processor. I would never get a 90-day warranty. $1,357 is just too much for a system spec'd out like that in my opinion.
There are a lot of other 14" notebooks on the market to take a stab at - MSI-1022, Compal EFL-30, HP dv1000/L2000, Compaq V2000Z, ThinkPad Z60t.

It was moved because this is brand specific, we'll be posting in the news section soon enough.

uhhmmm yeah get yourself a 1 year minimum, just cuz you got a low price on a low spec system dosent mean that the build quality is going to b better than anyone elses, i needed warranty over 5 times for parts while i had it, granted only 2 they actualy gave me parts before they weaseled out of it

Their physical dimentions seam to be the best, just .75" in height. I thought the thinkpad was one of the thinest and lightest at .97" and less than 5lb. The laptop looks the King on paper, but I have read so many negatives about the Alien it wouldn't hurt to call them and confirm if the dimensions are with the laptop lid closed itself :).
