HP estimates around 7 business days to custom configure a laptop. In all of your experiences, is that usually longer than it takes, or about right?

My r3000z was shipped before the estimated date, and my V5000z was shipped exactly on estimated date. I guess it depends on demand and supply.

HP is usually really good about being on time. If they're late, they'll usually call or send you a message of some sort.

When I ordered my zv6000 a few months ago it came 1 day late. No problems and commuication vie email was quite good.
