Question:
installing HD on z70va
I just ordered a new z70va, can't wait till it gets here~
Since I have a credit at a local store I opted out of the HD from the reseller and will be getting that myself (WD 80G 5400 probably) ... so I was just wondering if there is anything tricky to installing a new HD on a notebook?
I've looked at the hardware install and that looks simple enough, but after that when I power up the machine and goto install my OS?
I've installed/upgraded OS's plenty of times on desktops, just wanted to make sure I didn't do anything stupid before I do anything at all with the notebook :o

All I could think of is the Jumper setting. Good luck

For a laptop, we don't need to have any jumper setting because only one HD is inside a laptop, but jumer setting have to be set as master or slave in desktop computer if more than 1 HD there.

Yea, its not hard.
Just unscrew the cover, take the HD and put it in the casing, screw casing on, put HD back in, push it so its firmly in place and all pins are in. Then screw back cover on and boot!
