Question:
Cleaning under keys
my stupid ass room mate just dribbled OJ over my new w3v,
I'm so mad right now. granted it was only a drop but it hit between the enter key and shift key and now shift is sticking,
Is there any safe way to take the keys off the keyboard and get rid of my OJ infestation
Thanks

Re: Cleaning under keys
Hmmm, try taking the whole KB out and taking a Q-Tip or a thin cloth, dab a little water and see if wiping inbetween helps

Re: Cleaning under keys
first thing you should have done was turn the computer over so it can leak out and not in......... but taking the whole keyboard out is important.... as long as you dry it (with compressed air and probably some alcohol..... you can really douse the keyboard with water to clean it up.....

Re: Cleaning under keys
2 screws under the system that are marked "K>" ... and 3-4 spring clips above the keyboard that need to be pushed back and the keyboard will just pop up and out.
