Re: difference between truelife xga and sxga+?
The True Life vs matte is really a personal preference. Some people love it and some people hate it. Personally, I think the True Life is great. It just depends on whether you like the glossy type screen or the Matte. Im sure other people will give good advice too. Also, search this forum. There have been many discussions on this topic

I would go for the sxga over the xga because I like high res stuff. truelife is a bonus too.

The screen size is the same, but the number of pixels is different. This Dell whitepaper may help:

Re: difference between truelife xga and sxga+?
wxga is 1200x 800, wsxga+ is 1680by 1050, the higher the resolution, the more space you have on your desktop, its worth the 80 bucks, images will be much sharper, and you have more room to work on

If you are going to be gaming, you should seriously consider sticking with the lower resolution panel because that will allow you to run games @ native resolution with higher frame rates. Running the higher resolution panel @ native resolution (1680x1050) will tax even the best video cards (which the e1505 doesn't have). If you are not a big gamer I highly recommend the WXSGA+ Truelife, I love mine.
