Handy solution for remote?
I just got the dv6000 and it came with the remote for free, which is sort of handy. But my peeve is that it doesn’t stay in the express card slot. If I pick up the laptop and move it around the remote is constantly falling out, has anyone come up with a solution?

lol. what else is there? a rubber band? aside from installing a hinged cover (you'd have to dissassemble your entire computer and drill, assuming there's a safe place to drill so its not worth it), there's not much modification you can do. You could do a nice job with the velcro if you spend more than 30 seconds on it, get the self adhesive stuff and put it on the lid or something.

Is there a release button on the express card slot? If so, maybe use a wrap or two of electrical tape to make the card fit a little tighter.

Hi Agrotzky,
You have to push the remote into the slot hard enough to make it click. It can take a pretty good push and it will go below the surface before it catches. It took me a couple of days to figure it out too.
