Is it easy to replace the display on the XPS M1210?

I am not interested in buying a new screen. I am getting a replacement system. And if it has dead pixels i want to switch to the screen i have on the other one before sending it back.

ROFL and I thought your screen got cracked or something. For dead pixels just return it to dell for an exchange. If you broke it somehow urself and got no warranty then try to get a screen from ebay and do it yourself. It may look complicated but the internals are remarkably easy. Here is the important part: GET THE RIGHT TOOLS. Home depot should have all you need.

I have done it on three differant laptops, and each of those without instructions. Its really not that bad, just get a 12 pack, turn on football on a sunday and do it. :D

Nothing is hard with laptops, u could practically build one ur self buying parts off eBay.
All you got to do is follow the guides on Dell's site.
