Issue: S62 series system does not boot, screen is blank
Asus S62J and S62FP systems require a hardware update to support Intel® Core™2 Duo processors. These systems will only support Intel® Core™ Duo (Yonah) and Intel® Celeron™ (Dothan) processors.
Workaround: None. Asus has issued S62JM and S62FPM systems which will support Merom. Production version systems are expected to be available WW37.

Someone already posted the Duo Core 2 Proc bios on this forum...do a quick search and you'll find it - then just upgrade to that and you'll boot fine.

There is no new BIOS released for S62J by intel, I have checked.
(only for S62JM,force updated and nothing fix)
If someone knows how to fix the problem,please tell me, thanks.
(The call center of ASUS(TW) tell me to ask INTEL....so goOoOoOod service.....)
