Question:
"You don't have rights to run 'Power Saver'" says my 'A50'
Hi! ... After installing "Win-XP Pro" and other drivers from
the Toshiba websiteon my "Satellite A50" , it's working fine
except for the "Toshiba Power Saver" utility. Opening it
results in the following message.....
"CANNOT open because you do not have access rights to use
"Toshiba Power Saver""
Anyone know why?
TIA

Your windows user account is limited. You need to be given permission by the admin, or use your admin account if it's your computer.

It's my own notebook with no password or access
restriction set for any user ...
Under "User Accounts", I'm being recognised as the
"administrator".
Could the 'Toshiba Power Saver' utility be looking
for some file that gets installed from the 'Toshiba
Restore' CD for this utility to run?
