e1705-lid close, screen stays on?
As stated, I close my lid, the screen stays on. Current lid-close feature is set to "Do Nothing," but even in my old inspiron 5150 with that setting, the screen turns off when you close the lid. Does this one just not do it? Seems odd.

are you using Dell's stock drivers? it works fine. modded drivers have problems.

yea, the drivers are all stock, but which drivers are you talking about, the vidcard drivers?

Yes, if you have nVidia, you must use the video card driver from Dell and not any modded drivers. If you use a nVidia driver from another site, then the LCD will stay on when your lid is closed.
