Re: connecting to wireless internet
Its because there is secuitry on your network. Go to
192.168.1.1 for Linksys routers/gateways
192.168.0.1 for Netgear routers/gateways
But do this on a wire connection to the router/gateway then enter your username and password then goto Wireless secuitry and see what WEP/WPA(2) key or passphase is then enter that into the wireless system.

Re: connecting to wireless internet
hmmm im not very knowledgeable when it comes to this stuff so i dont really know what you mean. i already have my WEP key. i'm actually connected to the network, it jsut says "limited or no connectivity - you might not be able to access the internet or some network resources. thiis problem occurred because the network did not assign a network addrss to the computer"
so i guess i need to know how to make the network assign a netwrk address to the computer.

Re: connecting to wireless internet
What is the IP address of the router/gateway. By the way that is the internal IP address and no-one from the Internet can see that. Linksys is 198.168.1.1 and Netgear is 192.168.0.1.
