Question:
Just did a clean install on my W7J, driver problems.
Hello,
I just did a clean installof XP Pro on my W7J (not using recovery disc)
I have installed all the drivers from the W7J driver disc.
However I still have a yellow question mark in device manager.
And I can't seem to get that utility that controls wireless + bluetooth and now I cant turn bluetooth off without turning wireless off using by using the hard switch.
Anyone had similiar experience?

You will need to install the ATK and Hcontrol drivers.
Also does your touchpad work properly?
If not then you will also need to install the Synaptic drivers for the touchpad to work well.

Yes I installed both ATK and Hcontrol drivers and my touchpad works fine. But I am missing that greenish blue circle in the task bar that controls wireless. Do you know whats that called?

You must install the Wireless console utility before installing the wireless drivers because this utility can let you enable and disable the bluetooth and wireless adapter devices.

Ok thanks guys I found out what I was missing, the wireless console. It wasnt in the driver disc nor was it in the W7J download section on the Asus website. I had to get it in the W3J section. However I still have one question mark and I dont know what Im missing.
When I look at the details, it says location: on Intel(R) 82801GBM (ICH7-M) LPC Interface Controller - 27B9

That's the isapnp.sys driver. Should be in Windows\Sytem32\Drivers folder. If it isn't, try expanding the file isapnp.sy_ file on your Wndows CD (I386 folder I believe)
