Bloatware
Is there bloatware on Dell's XPS systems? If so, what are they? When configuring a system on Dell's site, there are options for no preinstalled software, which would imply "no bloatware". Is that accurate? Please share your thoughts and experiences. Thank you.

The bloatware is the same as what is on the rest of the Inspiron line. It is mostly just a bunch of shareware and trial versions of different software products.

Only the Inspirons get the Bloatware - just choose no preinstalled software on your order sheet as you've mentioned and you won't get any bloatware.

Depends on what XPS system you get. The M1210 does not have any junkware, but not sure about the other systems.

i guess it depends on what you mean by Bloatware my m1210 still had a number of programs id call bloatware, but I guess it is much less than the desktop i got from dell (more trial oriented stuff)
