Re: E1705 Qs
Well glossy screen is a matter of preference. I would go to your local Best Buy, Circuit C, etc. and check out the different screen types and see which one you like more. I am not sure about the wireless card, although I do have the Intel Pro Wireless card and have not had any troubles picking up my home network, school network, or other people's networks.

It's mostly just about the higher resolution that comes with ordering the glossy screen. I should've said "Is the higher resolution worth it".

Re: E1705 Qs
Thats also a matter of preference. Alot of people would say yes, since it is a desktop replacement. Do note however, that If you plan to be gaming on this machine, that getting a higher resolution screen will in essence decrease the power of your card with future games, since you may have to run them outside of native resolution. But the 7900GS is a powerful card, so if you like extra desktop space, then I say go for it.

With my intel card I am able to pick up more wi-fi signals (longer Range)
If you are not going to use the lappy outdoors in the sun I would get the glossy screan
