Question:
Asus Z96J
So i've decided on the Z96J. Im in Canada. I want at least the T7200 in it although not available in canada anywhere yet. I came across this on ebay....

They also have one with a T7200 for $1691 as well. Should i go for this? I havent found anything close to as good a deal as this in canada OR the US (Remember im paying in CDN$, and i want it shipped assembled).

Have you asked MilestonePC if they can get the T7200 anytime soon?
I see the T5600 on their site for Z96J, maybe if you email them and ask they can confirm for you whether or not they can do it?

First of all, you should understand that the model that link points to is a Z96Js, which is actually the S96J (I have it myself and am typing on it right now...I just checked CPU-Z to just be sure.)
Secondly...I've seen that company's items on ebay on several occasion and don't particularly trust them. I mean...they can't even count. 5 USB ports? Unless they somehow added another one, I count only four on mine.

It's a high res screen as listed which means its a Z96JS, rather than a S96J.
The 5 USB ports is an error at MileStonePC as well - I think they either just copied it from there or these guys copied it from them. Either way their both wrong, and I told MPC to fix it and they said that 'some models have it some don't' lol. All of the S96J/Z96J/Z96JS have 5 USB Ports, if you need more get a USB Hub for $7CAD. All use the same Mobo so thats why any app will show them all as the same model.
I like MPC, I'd check with them, I'd also like to know when they will have the new CPU, I have a sweet deal on an upgrade and I'm just waiting for it to come into stock :).

They actually copied the 5 usb thing from somewhere. Once someone complains they will figure it out

I just bought mine from Milestone in Canada with a Merom T5500. But you have to call/email them to tell them that, cause they have to flash the Bios to make it compatible with the merom. I ordered it barebone, but I'm sure you can get a deal for a built-on one.

The customer service was superb and they have a huge selection of processors. They also have the Z96 and you can get it with anything up to 2.33ghz. I bought it on ebay from them but used their website to tell them exactly what i wanted tonfigured
even if u buy on ebay
they can still cusom congif it for you. I reccomend u add the arctic silver paste for 5 dollars.

WHY? there is absolutely no reason for this. If people just want it then it should be offered for free. Why pay 5$ for as5 when dry standard compound gets the same results?
