BIOS reset 4 Compaq Presario 2500 Laptop
To all,
I have spent days and hours trying to crack the laptop listed on the subject line. Still, with no success with by passing the password. I have also used many crack/hack/clear cmos programs. This laptop is a friend’s and they have forgotten the password. What other tools or methods are available for resetting or hacking into the CMOS. I'm willing to pay for any software tools available. The BIOS make is Phoenix and the build is 4.13.
I've have been in the IT business since 1985 as a senior repairman, programmer and system analyst. But I must admit, Laptop BIOS is something I was not required to work with, until now. I have also used Debug to reset. If, I can get my hands on a technical manual, I may be able to reset the EEPROM with a paperclip.
