I think it may have more to do with the thermal management than anything else. Although, I do like the idea of Quad Crossfire. I think Dell may want to make a move to water cooling, hence the name. I'm just guessing, so I am probably wrong.

Knowing dell... I think it's going to be more about the case finish, something like how the PS3 looks. I'm sure it will tear up as far as dell is concerned but I really think it's all about the case.

It's certainly got my curiosity juices flowing. I'm sure otakuoverlord is right though, it will probably be a brand new case design, which is good because the existing XPS models are HIDEOUS.
But with a new look usually comes new technology, so I wouldn't be surprised to find new thermal management components inside, hence the 'Ice' portion of the name.
