dv2000t: How to tell the LCD manufacturer and if it is not good, can I just return?
The thing I worry before ordering dv2000t is that the dreaded dim LCD by random lottery.
My question is: how can I tell which type of LCD I have?

Where are you buying from? From Costco you certainly can return it for any reason.
For other places, it'll come down to the restocking fee policy.

I wouldn't worry what manf. you get, check out the screen for yourself. I love my screen and think it's clear, sharp and bright. It's an LG which according to some people on here, is not that good. I can't complain about it
So at the end of the day, who makes the screen isn't the be all and end all.
