Inspiron 6400, wait or buy?

Question:
Inspiron 6400, wait or buy?
Does anybody know whether the 6400 will ever include a dedicated video card
rather than the integrated 950? I love the specs of this laptop except the
video card.
Would you say that in a month or two, they will use a better GPU?
Or is it better to jump and buy right now with the current specs?
I don't have any hurries till summer, except that the 1300$ in my pocket is
burning my skin :o

It will include a dedicated GPU, the x1400, at some point. When, that's kinda up in the air. If you want to game though, I'd wait. Especially since you don't need it right now

Re: Inspiron 6400, wait or buy?
So how much do you expect this x1400 to add to the price of the laptop? I am not heading for a gaming laptop, yet I want it to
be able to run the early 3D games (Neverwinter Nights, Morrowind, Sims2, etc.). I believe the integrated 950 will choke
even in these games. So I am thinking that a better GPU may
be nice if it is in a reasonable price margin.

You could save a little more cash up until the summer. The X1400 is a $140 upgrade on the 9400, but 128 version will probably be on the 6400, so it will probably be cheaper. It will be a worth wile option even given the cost. You can always get a lower memory configuration to save a little money since companies like Dell way over charge on memory and upgrade it you're self after market. =)
