Dell XPS M170 question
hey guys well i just got my new Dell XPS M170 , and is my first laptop, everything about it i like but one thing i dont like are the scratches on the of the computer is driving me crazy, how can i prevent this from happening
i dont want any more scratches on it what can i use or to cover it with something...PLEASE HELP....thanks :confused:

I have one I can sell you. A tiny piece of the plastic has broken off where the cover hooks into the laptop, but it has no effect on it and can't be seen.
I'll sell it to you for $10 plus shipping.

Did you remove the clear plastic sheet that came on the lid? It's almost like a second skin. A lot of XPS owners have missed that and thought their lids came pre-scratched...
If you have removed it and it's already scratched, you get help get rid of all but the deepest ones (and prevent new ones) by using plexus plastic cleaner & protector. It's actually used by Nasa (and it's mandated for use on the B1B stealth bomber's canopy) Ppl have reported using it with their PSP (another scratch magnet) with great success...
