Re: Aspire 5672WLMi keyboard problem
Hmm.. I haven't had the chance to type that much with they keyboard yet. But i havent encountered any of the problems u have got. maybe your not pressing down hard enough?..altho i bet its highly unlikely. maybe somebody else has had this problem before.
one problem i do notice is that, sometimes i miss hitting the keys properly, probably because i'm not used to typing on a laptop.

Re: Aspire 5672WLMi keyboard problem
I'd say the ribbon cable connecting to the motherboard from the Keyboard should be reinserted. If you know how to access the ribbon cable underneath the keyboard, then it's worth a shot. Remove it and then reinsert it. If it doesn't work, mostlikely the keyboard needs to be replaced.

does anybody know how to take the bottom cover off? the large one that's supposed to have the memory and cpu? i took out all the screws, and did a little bit of wiggling, but still couldnt take it out.
by contrast the hdd cover was pretty easy, the screws, and then used a screwdriver to pop it off.

Re: Aspire 5672WLMi keyboard problem
Are the same keys constantly affected or is it random?
I would suggest taking a can of compressed air and spray the keyboard. Also another suggestion, if the same keys are affected, would be to pry off that particular key and reseat it. Please note, that if you take the key of improperly, you could possibly damage the keyboard, and void your warranty.
Additionally, if your not familiar taking laptops apart, I would suggest leaving that to the professionals. Doing so will most certainly void the warranty.
