Acer 2012 Replacement?
Hey,
this is a redundant question as everything will eventually get replaced. but....how soon do you think the 1.5 ghz pentium-m will get hopelessly out of date, (with the configuration that the 2012WLMi has....im absolutely obsessed with this notebook to geek-proportions....not that there's anything wrong with that:D[;)]),
your opinions are much appreciated, should i stick with the 2012 at roughly USD 1300, or invest in a 1.7 or 1.8ghz notebook right now so ive got the latest and greatest...at least for now!!!

The 1.5 will last for a while if you're only doing office/internet type work. I use a PM 1.1 right now and even when it's throttled on battery power, it's plenty for me.
