Inspiron 9400

Question:
Inspiron 9400
Hi guy's
Just ordered this laptop through work, looks great, one quick question, cause i got this as a bundle all the spec was fixed so i couldn't change it. One down point to it was that it's integrated intel 950 graphics i've got. Ok i have a desktop computer which is perfect for games, but i was hoping the laptop i'd have would be able to play recent games? does anyone know how well this chip runs on the lowest quality setting on a game? i'm not a hardcore gamer i just want to know if it does the job.
I've seen the graphs on high quality. but i want to know how it runs with low quality as i've got my desktop for high quality gaming.
I understand from looking at the forums there is no way to upgrade the integrated card. is this really the case? is there nothing i can do about it if the graphics are that poor.
One more thing,
The laptop has an expresscard slot, there doesn't seem to be much on the market for this? will there be more in years to come?
Any feedback on this will do, just wondering a few things
:)

Re: Inspiron 9400
You cannot upgrade inegrated graphics cards with dedicated cards. :(
The integrated might play some games at lower settings, you will have to try it out with the games you have.
The express card is pretty new, alot of things should start coming out now that newer laptops have it. But more will come out as it becomes more popular.
Hope this helps.

Just one question buddy.....why didn't u order it with the X1400? Just curious! As i said before, it was a fixed bundle. You can't change any of the package as it has gone through my work not through dell.
Thanks USAFdude,
It does help in away. Kind of frustrating but i'm getting £400 off the laptop anyway so i shall not complain.

No in all seriousness,
the laptop is what i want. i was just curious incase i could upgrade in anyway.
But it's fine, thanks for the help.
What kind of modules will you expect to see in the future for the expresscard? Think anything like video cards would come into play or is that not possible?

Re: Inspiron 9400
I doubt video cards, but there are some networking cards, and other things. Right now express cards isn't very popular, but like USAF said, things should start to come out soon.
here are some of the cards that are available right now:
