Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility

Question:
Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility
Noted that this was available on my E1505....
If I perform an XP reinstall from 'scratch', where would I locate this Dell utility for download or off CD???
Is this software something I should/must have???? Seen reference on one web site... UMass Site ... recommending 'ditching' the Dell application/utility and sticking with the XP tools.
Any thoughts/recommendations/info....
Thanks
Mark

Re: Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility
I am not sure how is Dell putting the package. But when I bought my laptop, they gave me couple of CDs, one of the CD contains all of the drivers. Once I have finished installing XP, I put the Drivers CD, and just choose my WiFi card, and just install it. Boom, Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility is now online. Simple.

Suspected that it might be on that particular CD, but hard to tell from browsing the disk....
Looks like it is not a 'standard' appliction, but is called by something else.
Appreciate the response

Yeah, when I browse the Drivers CD manually (Windows Explorer), I cannot ID what are the drivers are called, looks like R05035.exe. However, once I auto run the CD, it show me what are these files are.

Just another suggestion, you can also download the drivers and applications from support.dell.com . If you don't want to download it, you should be able to find it on Dell Drivers Disc.
Normally the application for your wireless card will install with your driver, so you should see it once that driver is installed.
