Question:
Acer 1690 Problem
I got an Acer 1690 for some time now, i have this problem when i start windows xp professional, all the programs i have start, and the computer go to idle for 1/2 seconds, after those 2 seconds the HDD activity led goes crazy for at least 10 seconds. After this the windows work fine.
I tried to upgrate all drivers, installing windows fresh with the apropriated CDkey etc ... I notice that this starts to happen when i make windows updates, when i tried this i had only chipset drivers installed.
Laptop Specs are:
WinXP sp2 with all updates until humn 10 min ago :p
CPU 1.73 Centrino
1DDr2
ATI X700 PCI EXPRESS
80GBs HDD
Dual Layer dvd rw
Wireless card intel
