[A7D (Z83D)]Removing the Hard disc....?

Question:
[A7D (Z83D)]Removing the Hard disc....?
Hi
I've bought an A7D (Z83D) and I want to remove the Hard disc. In the Asus guarantie conditions it states removing the hard disc or the memory nullifies the guarantie.
So I want to do this without leaving any traces.
The hard disc has a ribbon to pull it out of its inclosure and I've tried to pull it out but it won't budge. It's sitting rock solid. There doen't seem to be any screws holding it in place. Just seems to be a tight fit.
So I want to ask Asus users here if there are any tricks or special ways to do this without breaking anything or ripping the removal ribbon by using to much force.
I'd appreciate any help on this....

I'm sure they won't know if you change it... unless of course you put in a new hard drive and then send it to them for repair.
I'm sure that they will still honour the warranty of the system... but if a hard drive malfunction happens after you've tampered with it, obviously they won't fix it for you.
So... just change what you have to. Chances are, they won't know that you tampered with it unless you put in a complete new hard drive; if you have to send it in for repair for whatever reason, just put the old one back in.

Thanx for the support, but my main problem is removing the hard drive as it's firmly stuck in!!
How can I lift it out without tearing the lifting ribbon?
