Well I bought a 7525 and It works great, but I recently started playing Half life based games (cs,dod) and i noticed that if i launch steam and try to play them i will get 100fps most of the time, but if I alt/tab or have programs in the background my fps will randomly lock at 93 instead of 100. I have tried diff drivers for the x600 but no luck. If anyone got any advice it will be greatly appreciate it.

If you are concerned about the slightly lower speed, the programs in the background would probably be the cause of that. What are you running in back?

are you honestly that concerned? I mean 30 frames is real time, and as far as im concerned anything over 60 cant be noticed with the human eye unless of course when the graphics get intense it is cutting you down a little bit and the extra 7 frames is useful.
