Dell1705(Need Feedback!) on this deal

Question:
Dell1705(Need Feedback!) on this deal
Ok, its breaks down like this. This is what I was looking for to start with

And now this is what I ended up ordering for a couple of reasons. I was going to go with what they recommended, the XP170 I think it was. However, I called up Dell and checked on my credit limit which I was approved for only 1500. So the guy recommended an E1705, saying that the specs were very close and that would be great for gaming.
As I was talking with him asking him the specs I went online and started to do a little research. I liked what I saw for the most part and decided to go ahead and order it.
So here is the machine coming to me in about of week:
Dell Inspirion E1705
Intel Core DuoProcessor T2400 (1.83GHz/667MHz FSB)
17 inch UltraSharp TrueLife Wide-screen WUXGA
1GB, DDR2, 533MHz 2 Dimm
256MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON X 1400 HyperMemory
100GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
8X DVD+/-RW Drive,
Hopefully this turns out to be a real nice system. I ended up getting it for $1361.50. There was a minor mishap with Dells Customer Service and I got an extra $110 knocked off by complaining to the supervisor. :)
For the money, I know that this was no doubt a great bargain. But I do have a couple questions
1) Do you think this laptop will fit my original request?
2) Will this be a near top of the line gamer machine?
3) Will it flawlessly play my games such as Madden 2006?
4) How good is the Video Card and Processor?(The only 2 things that concerned me a bit)
5) Have I already asked enough question? (lol)
Thanks alot guys, please let me know what you think!!

Re: Dell1705(Need Feedback!) on this deal
Jdamron7,
1) Do you think this laptop will fit my original request?
?? could you be more specific as to what games tasks you will use it for?
2) Will this be a near top of the line gamer machine?
The ATI X1400 would be comparable to a mid-level desktop graphics card, so to say top of the line would be misleading. The E1705 was offered with the 7800go a few weeks ago until it mysteriously dissappeared. There are roomers either it or the 7900go will appear once again in the laptop in a few weeks. It may server your gaming interest to wait for those cards to return, my E1705 w/7800go is an awesome gaming machine..especially with the 40% overclock on the graphics card.
3) Will it flawlessly play my games such as Madden 2006?
Madden 2006 may be fine on the X1400, but Call of Duty 2 and Oblivion will need to have the detail turned down slightly.
4) How good is the Video Card and Processor?(The only 2 things that concerned me a bit)
The processor is outstanding, why they don't put it in the XPS I'll never know. Multitasking is awesome as is any multimedia work and gaming is a breeze. Video card is good, but see my above statements.

Thanks alot guys, please let me know what you think!! Also, it should be noted that your GPU is not a fully dedicated card. It is using hyper-memory, which basically means that it is using some of your system memory when processing 3D applications. To prevent you from having any in-game slowdowns...I'd suggest upgrading to 2gb of RAM.

Re: Dell1705(Need Feedback!) on this deal
Yes, they are the same, except Windows MCE is offered with the E1705 since it's the consumer-branded version (the 9400 is the "business" branded version).
