Question for you. If I decided to return my D620 for the system with the dedicated graphics, will that be a complicated issue for me? Will I have to pay a restocking fee?

Not always. I've never had to pay a restocking fee, and Dell even offers to pay for the shipping back! They must love me! Just try a couple of different times with different reps, OR, complain about something about it (hence, it is defective) and maybe they won't charge for you to return it (really, you are exchanging it, make sure you point that out).

Re: Dell D620
I actually asked if I could just buy the card and install it myself. After reading the schematics replacing a video card was not one of them. I would have had to replace the entire board (not good) with processor and everything on it.
I just called them and they will allow me to return my Dell Latitude D620 2 Ghz, 1 GB RAM, 100 GB 7200 RPM HD, Intel GMA 950 with DVD Burner. I will order the D620 with 2 Ghz, 1 GB RAM 2 DIMM, 100 GB HD 7200 RPM with the 256MB NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M TurboCache. Too bad it is a 2 DIMM option at 533 mhz but I will only upgrade to 2 GB anyways.
Man, I love Dell!!!
Thanks for the update regarding the card. I called just within the nick of time before I could not return the original order! (Jumping for joy).

As of last night. It is 64 MB dedicated and the rest is shared. I wanted it for the resolution for output for presentations.

there's a difference in external resolutions between the cards?
almost every single integrated vidcard now will push 1920x1200 externally.

Thank you.
On the main D610/620/810/820 page, the D620 is still only GMA 950 but, after I chose "Customize It", I saw the "256MB NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 110M TurboCache™" video card. Great!
