"Can not turn off the CD/DVD drive because the disc tray is open" error question
Everytime I turn on my sz160 in battery mode this error comes up: "Can not turn off the CD/DVD drive because the disc tray is open." I disabled it in vaio power management before turning on the computer, but I keep getting that error message. Does anyone know why? And the disc tray is not open...

If you are running Daemon tools then this could be your problem. At least it was for me. You need to unmount and disable the Daemon drives to get this error to disappear.

I just check daemon tools and nothing is mounted. I also have daemon tools disabled as a startup program. I am still getting this error.

You said that you have it disabled as a start up program. Open it up again and disable the drive in Daemon tools. Set the number of drives as Disabled. I think if you still have the drive enabled it will show up even if you dont have the program turned on in your taskbar. Try that and it should work.
