Just called Dell's technical support.... ;/
I just got called dells technical support to ask if they are doing anything about the problems with the E1405 screen. And the lady i talked to had no clue what i was talking about. She kept trying to say that they dont ship LCDs that are damaged and that I have 2 options when it comes to the screen, The truelife and the non lol She had no idea. maybe dell will try and act like their isnt a problem with the E1405 screens. Who do I call or talk to about this?

Heh only in the far right bottom corner.. does it show a small circle thats darker.. odd.. doesnt seem to be as bright.. not sure what causes that, but dont think its something to worry on..
As for your issue.. I would say just call back in, get a diff rep.

lol no just about everyone who has a E1405 has been complaining about some dark spots and mainly bad light leakage...
