At Home Warranty Service
Hello -
When I make my purchase I'm probably going to ship to another address to avoid state tax. - Does this in any way screw up my Home Warranty Service. - For example, will they only give service at the address it was shipped to?
I'm sure it doesn't make a difference, but you never know?

I don't know about your specific question, or Dells policies, but I know if your buying something on line at most places on the Internet, and even the policy of some card issuing banks, if the billing address and the shipping address don't match, you don't get approved when you try to run your card to pay for it.
They do this because there are so many people out there on the internet sharing hords of stolen credit card numbers, buying things on them, then having them shipped to somewhere that doesn't match the owner of the cards information. It usualy sends up red flags to the fraud alert police, or at least it should. If my own bank allowed me to do that I'd be looking for a different bank.

No it will not mess up your warrenty

No it wont mess up your warranty, I shipped my last 3 dells to my work and have never had an issue with getting them to come out and fix them ALL. I work 10-12 hrs a day and have no idea what my mailman/woman even looks like.
If your credit card company wont let you do this then get a different company that will. I have never had a problem shipping to a different location even overseas, they may call to verify that you made the purchase though.
