Device Manage: Multiple Instances of Same Device

Does anybody know why my Device Manager shows multiple instances of the same devices (see the attatched image)? If it makes any difference, I have an E1405/640M, but I also had a similar issue with my M140/630M.

the 3 monitors are for your LCD, an external monitor and a TV
the two processors i would guess is for two cores
not sure why you have two vidcards

For the display adaptors it may be like one for the built in lcd and the other for the s video/vga ports on your laptop.
