In the run up to Computex Taipei, Acer head office just officially announced the Aspire 9510, with 17" LCD (dual lamps), GeForce Go 7900 512MB, Centrino Duo, dual 120GB HDDs, and up to 4GB RAM:
Awesome! How many of these are Turion X2 systems? Looking to buy an AMD this early September. All of these are Core Duo. So far the only new AMD notebooks that Acer has announced for Computex are the Ferrari 1000 and Ferrari 5000 described in another thread.

The Ferrari notebooks announced separately are rumored to ship from June 27th. Not sure on these Aspires, but I'm guessing within the next 6 weeks would seem reasonable for first shipments.

If I were you, I'd write down what needs and requirements you have of a notebook, then compare the Ferrari and others, see which meets those needs best.
That'll make your decision for you.
