Dell and AMD?
Here's an article I read in USA Today a couple of weeks ago saying how Dell will no longer be exclusively using Intel chips (may cause intel products to rise in price through Dell):

yes, it's only for 'some high end servers'. i assume it was to meet the demand of some large corporate clients who insist they run they're servers on AMD. i doubt it means you'll see AMD chips in their notebooks (or even desktops) anytime soon.

its kinda funny that they get them now now when intel is poised to take back the performance crown

AMD must of finally become a profitable option for Dell.
