Asus w7j heat?

Question:
Asus w7j heat?
Any w7j user who can comment on heat? "Lap-ability" is very important for me in a laptop. I wouldn't want to be scorched. I'm also looking at a HGL30, and Compal machines have a reputation for running very cool, and I'm wondering about w7j. I understand heat is a rather subjective issue, but I'd still like to hear opinions.
Thanks! :)

it gets warm on the bottom. Quite the same as a w3j. A thicker larger laptop would get less warm.

it definatly gets warm, not too quick unless under a heavy load of course. it gets to be uncomfortable but its definatly bearable. i just avoid it and use a table or desk or whatever when its available

Re: Asus w7j heat?
I'm using mine for a week and I haven't found it to be too warm at all. That's a subjective statement but it's really not bad. I can't compare it to the W3 but I've seen the Macbook and that's much hotter than this is.

Quite the same. If you look at the video i uploaded. I have said repeteadly that the wide wiev angles ar A ok but the verticals are not so great. This is a quality i have seen time and time again on 15.4" 14" 13.3 and 12" glossy displays.

Thanks for the replies re warmth. I agree it's quite subjective, but if several say it does get warm...
