Heat Test On MacBook.

Question:
Heat Test On MacBook.
For those interested this guy used an infrared thermometer and compared the heat of the case from a MacBook to that of a Dell D620. Pretty interesting. The MacBook case gets hotter, but not too much hotter. It shows the difference between active cooling and passive cooling. Temps are in Fareinheight I believe.

Re: Heat Test On MacBook.
What he was reffering to was the way Apple does not use fans the same way as other manufacturers. My wifes Dell sounds like a jet half the time.

What he was reffering to was the way Apple does not use fans the same way as other manufacturers. My wifes Dell sounds like a jet half the time. This was always our complaint both with our Dell laptops and the eMachines that I just got rid of. The Mac is MUCH quieter. Also the heat vent design is much more pleasing.
