Question:
Asus W7J wireless card location question.
Where is the card located? There is no access panel on the bottom of the machine, and I *really* want to put that dodgy Intel card on the shelf in favor of an Atheros chipset based solution...
BTW, love this laptop. Best I've ever owned.

There is a warranty void sticker on the WiFi card I believe...
Once its unstuck, I think the sticky part disappears or something. Anyone know?

Does Atheros based card has the same slot with intel 3945 card? I am not sure about this, just reminds you 3945 and 2915 or 2200 have different slot.

The 3945 is a mini-pci express card. Those Atheros 5006 cards going for sale in another fourm here seems to work. Also mini-pci express! Now we just have to figure out how to access the card...

I really want to give one of the new 5008 pre-N cards a try, but I'm not sure if I've got the bravery to start taking apart the notebook until I finally find the slot...
Are there any tech/service manuals available for it? I remember a while back when I was lurking around I saw some pop up for other ensemble models, but nothing recently.
