How do I use Bluetooth?

Question:
How do I use Bluetooth?
So I'm trying to send my pictures and videos from my Motorola Razr to my e1505 with bluetooth. I can get them to see each other but there is a password required which I never set... I can't find anywhere to change/create a password in the settings. Help?

Just enter in any number combination on the device that asks for the code. Then the other end will ask you for the code as well. Enter it again and they should tranfer the files.

Most of the time the phone companies won't let you transfer files via bluetooth because they want you to use their service so they get more money (I know this is the case with Verizon). However, you know that usb charger that came with your phone? You can use that, with a couple programs, to transfer files, as well as to reenable bluetooth transfers.

Re: How do I use Bluetooth?
I'm not sure what might be the problem. I have a RAZR and it transfers files to my 9300 without a problem. Only suggestion I have right now is try creating a trusted pair with the 2 devices first.
1. Double click on the BT icon in the taskbar. This should bring up your devices list.
2. Select Add Device.
3. Go to the BT menu on the phone.
4. Select Setup
5. Select Find Me, discoverable is now active for 60 seconds
6. Choose the express mode on the PC and let it search for devices. It should find the RAZR and ask you for a code again, follow the prompts and enter the codes on both devices.
When this is done the RAZR should now be a trusted device on your BT devices list. Now try doing the file transer again.

To Send Files VIA bluetooth without that hassle right click on your file select send via bluetooth ...
Since you have found your mobile on your notebook the mobile's bluetooth name is in the list...
This worked with my brother's K750i

Check out http://motomodders.net/ for more info. If your service provider is Cingular, there should be no restriction on the transfer of files over BT.

Okay so Im in the Bluetooth Motorola Phone folder. I clicked "discover services" and it brings up "Dial-Up Netowrking Gateway on Motorola Phone" and "Handsfree voice Gateway on motorola"... I try going w/ the dial up network and enter my phoen number in next to "dial:"... my phone makes some kind of connection, but nothing happens (the computer keeps dialing).
