.doc to .pdf

Question:
.doc to .pdf
If someone could recommend a good program (i'm assuming there is no way around d/l a third party software) to convert MS Word files into Adobe Reader, that would be greatly appreciated. One that does not rearrange the spacing on its own.
Links would be fantastic as well.
Thank You

Hello,
Actually this can be done VERY easily, how easily? Simple as printing litterly. I used a program called Win2PDF. A simple program that let you print PDF files.

Its not free but its worth the money.

Uh, well, last time I checked... If you have acrobat reader installed, all you have to do is print to the Adobe distiller in word.
Simple as that.
In fact, you may be able to right click on the dock file and tell it to create a pdf out of it. Though this may require Acrobat professional.

Re: .doc to .pdf
you seem to be pretty tied to Office, but OpenOffice.org has PDF exporting built in. free of course.
Answer:
Re: .doc to .pdf
Yep, Open Office from www.openoffice.org. Free, opens Word documents with no problem and converts to PDF:
OpenOffice.org 1.1 introduced the PDF export feature. Version 2.0 now extends the basic export feature. With the new version it is possible to define the compression levels of embedded images. In addition, the PDF support now correctly handles thumbnail images and hyperlinks. Adobe Reader does not include the Distiller printer (at least no Reader 8 or 7).
Or just wait for Office 2007 which is supposed to have built-in PDF capabilities.
