Connecting printer through bluetooth

Question:
Connecting printer through bluetooth
I have a Dell 9400 with bluetooth. I would like to connect my Canon all-in-one printer that is not bluetooth enabled. The printer is connected through a USB. My question is:
Do I need to buy a specific bluetooth printer adapter or can I buy any bluetooth USB adapter to connect the printer? Also, will all the functions of the printer (scanning, faxing, etc.) work through the bluetooth, or just the printing function? The reason I ask is, I found a canon printer adapter on Amazon and in the customer reviews someone said it works only with printing and not scanning, etc. If anyone has any adapters that are known to work I would appreciate it.

Re: Connecting printer through bluetooth
a better solution would probably be to find a printer server that supports scanning over the network, provided you have a home LAN.
I'm not sure what's available for Canon AIO products, so you'll have to search that out.
