Ok, this made it onto Slashdot, it's an article from PCWorld from Friday with the scary title "Wi-Fi Bug Found in Linux" with the even scarier by-line "A major Linux Wi-Fi driver contains a bug that can allow an attacker to take control of a laptop--even when it is not on a Wi-Fi network."

Well, here's the Ubuntu security announcement of the patch that fixes this vulnerability. Take careful note of when the thread was posted and the patch released. (Hint, it's not exactly new.)

That's because people want to find something wrong with Linux once in a while, so that M$ users can feel a little better that they are too lazy to switch over. :eek: (It's not like Mac users care that Linux is great...heck Mac OS is based in UNIX)
