Question:
From Japanese Os To English Os
I'm planning to buy a Japanese version Sony Vaio TZ, and wants to install a fresh copy of Windows Vista (English version). Do I need to partition the hard drive? If i do, what does that mean and how do I proceed. I understand that if i install a clean copy of OS, all the drivers will be gone. Can I first install the new OS and then download the drivers from Sony website and then install it?
Thanks in advance

Re: From Japanese Os To English Os
You can install it on the same partition or have both JP and EN versions running parallel (if you have two partitions).
You can download drivers after installing if your wireless or LAN card (which ever you use to connect to internet) works with default drivers. Otherwise you’ll have to use another PC to download.
