Driver Genius
Anyone have any opinions on this program?
I updated the driver database and its listing some newer drivers for my system, and i dont believe it.
I just installed updated audio drivers i found linked at btotech and they are from intel, version 5233.
This program is telling me this is available

When i try to download it, its telling me the chip it is for is realtek_alc880_drv154.exe.
My audio icon in the tray, "about" is telling me i have a 882

There are quite a few driver updates, so this thing says, but im a little skitish to play with them.

I'm not really sure what your question is. Those files don't surprise me, and I would probably upgrade to them.

Why is the program telling me to update audio drivers from a 882 chip driver to a 880 chip driver? Are they one in the same?
Why is the wireless driver so huge in size?
Basicly, i am just looking for some feedback on the program and weather or not its trustworthy. So far, i am more confused from the results its showing me than anything.

The wireless driver probably also includes the wireless application. If that's the case, then the 50mb size is justified. I'd probably install the driver then manually remove the application and use the Windows wireless utility.

the 882 is in the 880 family, more than likely. Just like the GeForce driver works for the 7400, 7600 and 7800.
