Major problems with WindowBlinds!!!

Question:
Major problems with WindowBlinds!!!
I really cannot figure this one out, and so far Stardock has refused to help me. I'm about to contact my bank for a chargeback, but I wanted to get your opinions...
When running WB I experience the following errors:
1) Explorer.exe frequently crashes.
2) Computer randomly reboots.
3) Outlook 2003 gets stuck in an infinite open-crash-open again loop.
4) FF2.0 does not render correctly
5) DEP will often stop explorer.exe when changing settings in WB.
6) All MS Office apps are extremely slow...usually a typed key or mouse press takes 3-5 seconds to register.
7) About 50% of my applications fail to work when WB is enabled.
8) My GPU is running at 70C when WB is on, but about 45-50 when not. My GPU only hits 70 when gaming and WB certainly shouldn't require THAT much power.
You get the general idea...their software doesn't work. Can anyone help me?

it may have to do with your video card. what video card are you using? try updating your video card driver.
if this does not solve the problem, try to uninstall and reinstall window blinds. My window blinds 5.1 is working flawlessly.

Uninstall Winblind. Run Registry mechanic and CCleaner to delete any junk left behind. Then install it. Also, are you using a legit version of the software?

well you could test WB in a fresh guest OS ;) Norton goes bye-bye as soon as I have the money to do it. I need a sub for Ghost though.
XP gets nuked this weekend so I'll start fresh.
I do happen to have an unused license of XP lying around...:)

Re: Major problems with WindowBlinds!!!
I tried both windowsblinds and StyleXP and windowsblinds totally messed my NC8430 up even though my widget showed there was no major ram use. No idea what is up. Everything slowed and the interface wouldn't render properly. Had to boot into safe mode and as system restore didn't work, I had to reinstall
StyleXP works beautifully though, especially if you turn off the background service if you do not desire logon or boot-up skinning, but even with the servicce turned on, it only uses 15-30mb, depending on which version you have turned on

Re: Major problems with WindowBlinds!!!
I've always had problems with WB. The last time I used it, on my old desktop, I had repair my XP installation. A serious waste of time :\ Since then, I've been using StyleXP with no problems.
I don't think there is a real remedy for your problems because WB does play around with system files and usually that conflicts with other program system files.
I also recommend uninstalling, fixing your registry, and then OS error checking. If that does not work, just nuke your XP installation.
