I was just curious, is it worth getting bluetooth on a laptop? I mean, which devices use bluetooth, and is it a must-have?

Mice. But the selection is limited :( . Basically if you plan on using wireless accessories (mice) and devices (phones) often, bluetooth becomes desirable. If you're using more than one wireless thing then it becomes a must IMO. I just hate having a usb dongle sticking out... let alone multiple ones...

They keep coming up with more bluetooth devices everyday. It's a great short range way to stay connected to your PC. It's not a laptop but I use a bluetooth transmitter on my iPod to stream music to my desktop unit downstairs. When I'm hangin out it's nice to be able to control everything from any spot in the basement. I can change songs, change the volume, etc. You never know what you might want in the future. It adds a small cost to the PC but the potential payoff in ease of use could be bigger.
