Anyone have an hp paviliion dv9000 notebook? I can't seem to get AIM to recognize the built in camera. Any help is appreciated:)

Have you tried installing the drivers for the camera?
Or tried running the utility that (even though it stinks) is a part of AIM?
Usually before you run it, it wont let you view it for a while. :/

well its a built in webcam for the hp dv9000 series, so i believe all drivers are installed. I mean i can use it to record videos just fine, but aim doesnt seem to be able to detect my cam for some reason. I updated drivers and still doesn't work :confused:. Does AIM just not like built in cameras?

aim has been known to have problems with the integrated webcams on hp notebooks.
