Computer Dictionary.
Hey..
I used to have the Microsoft Encarta, and it came with a very useful dictionary. I use this all the time, and it is very helpful. It only occupies a small icon in the taskbar, and it automatically loads with windows. One click and you can get the definition of anything, another click and it hides again.
Does anyone have any alternative to this? I do not have Microsoft Encarta anymore.

He asked for a dictionary, not an encyclopedia -- and I think he is looking for an offline one
two good free ones, but neither sits in the task bar

Also, if you have Vista and an always on connection, their are several DICTIONARY gagdets that sit in the sidebar
